Future Global Sports is delighted to announce that Joe Henman has appointed us to represent him on an exclusive basis.
A bright, dynamic, technical midfielder, the 18-year-old is one of the most exciting emerging talents in non-league football, earning international recognition as well as becoming a regular at first team level in men’s football at Leiston FC.
Joe started his career in grassroots football and has developed through the non-league system, starring at Fakenham Town, where he won promotion in 2025/26, and Wroxham as a 17-year-old. His performances including a promotion play-off final win for Fakenham Town won admirers, and in the summer it was Leiston that won the race for Henman’s services, joining the Southern Premier Central outfit.
In May 2026 further national recognition came for Joe when he was named in the England Schoolboys squad to play Wales in a summer international at Cirencester Town. Henman was a star of the show as England won 6-1, laying on two assists to earn rave reviews for his performance full of energy and dynamism.
Since joining Leiston in the summer Henman has adapted to step 3 men’s football rapidly, starting ten games and scoring one goal in an FA Cup qualifying win over Grays Athletic. In doing so, Henman has become one of the only 18-year-old midfielders in the country playing regular men’s first team football at this level of the non-league pyramid.
“Joe is a young, energetic midfielder with great technical ability,” said Jordan Southgate, his manager at Wroxham. “He’s got bags of energy, a strong work ethic, and a huge amount of potential.”
At Future Global Sports we are excited to work with Joe, who is a willing learner who has a clear hunger and drive to develop and improve as a footballer, as well as all the potential to stand out at this level and continue to progress further in the years to come.
We continue to be an ideal destination for top young talents to work with and help build their careers, and in Joe we see a player who, together with his enthusiasm and potential and our experience and guidance, can progress in the coming years as he looks to forge a career in professional football.
We look forward working together to help guide Joe’s career and realise his full potential in the years to come.
Welcome to FGS, Joe.
Future is Henman!
