DONE DEAL: Ronnie Blois signs for Morecambe Football Club

Future Global Sports is delighted to confirm that client Ronnie Blois has completed a move to Morecambe Football Club from Leiston FC.

Blois joins the Enterprise National League North outfit on an initial two-year deal, moving from step 3 Southern Premier League central side Leiston. The deal is Ronnie’s first professional contract after a debut season at Leiston in which the promising striker scored 13 goals.

A powerful and hard-working target man centre-forward, Blois, 19, enjoyed an excellent campaign in front of goal as the highest scoring 18-year old in steps 1-3, establishing himself as one of the most exciting young attacking prospects in non-league football.

His performances also earned interest from several EFL clubs, including trials at Championship club Blackburn Rovers in May, before Morecambe won the race for the forward’s signature.

Morecambe manager Adam Lakeland said:

“I'm delighted to bring Ronnie to Morecambe FC. He's a player who Sam and I became aware of last season and is someone who we believe we can and will continue to nurture into a very good centre forward.”

“He is a young lad who is moving away from home and taking a step into professional football for the first time, so it's important we don't put too much pressure and expectation on him too soon. However, that said, Ronnie doesn't play the game like a typical 19-year-old.

“He relishes the physical battle which comes with being a number nine and has a great work ethic which can see him dropping in to link play, contest aerial duals, run the channels or play on the shoulder. He has a real appetite to get into positions where he gets chances and scores goals, and he is capable of scoring all types of goals.”

“I'm sure in our team, with the numerous creative players we have, he will score goals and only continue to improve as a player under our guidance. I look forward to working with him and it's yet another talented, hungry young prospect, with a bright future, joining our group."

Speaking after signing for the Shrimps, Ronnie Blois said: “It’s a massive club, I want to play my part of getting them back to where they belong which is the EFL.”

“The Gaffer came to watch me a few times last year and then when he came here, there was only one option for me. A club like this shouldn’t be where they are.”

At Future Global Sports we continue to grow our reputation for finding and working with the top young talents in non-league football and helping them find opportunities and transition into professional football.

This deal represents a strong move for Ronnie into full-time football after signing with Future Global Sports, and we are excited to see him take his first steps in the pro game and continue to develop his talents at a well-established, well-supported football club such as Morecambe.

Congratulations Ronnie and we wish you every success at your new club. Future is Blois!

Ronnie Blois signs with Future Global Sports

Future Global Sports is delighted to announce that Ronnie Blois has appointed us to represent him on an exclusive basis.

A tall, physical target man-type striker, 19-year-old Blois has enjoyed a fantastic season at Leiston FC, scoring 13 goals in his first season at step 3 of men’s football in the Southern Premier League Central.

Ronnie began his career in Wroxham FC’s youth teams before a move to Sheringham FC, and then Dereham Town in 2024. Plying his trade in the Thurlow Nunn Premier Division, Blois emerged at 17 years old playing in men’s football (step 5), scoring 13 goals in 34 appearances for The Magpies at Dereham.

Such early promise attracted eyes from bigger clubs in the region, and at the start of the 2025/26 season Blois stepped up two divisions to join Leiston FC.

At Leiston, Ronnie has established himself as one of the country’s leading young strikers, scoring 13 goals to become the highest scoring 18-year-old anywhere in the country in steps 1-3 of English non-league football. A variety of finishes demonstrated the youngster’s raw abilities, with an eye for goal and the physicality to match and quickly adapt to the demands of men’s football.

A 6’2 striker who can run the channels, hold the ball up, find space in the box with sharpness and good penalty box instincts as well as a player who can arrive in the box to win headers, Ronnie is a very exciting young prospect. Upon signing for Future Global Sports opportunities quickly emerged, and in May 2026 Ronnie spent time at Blackburn Rovers on trial, a well deserved reward for a season of rapid development in men’s football.

“Ronnie is a powerful No.9, raw, which is to be expected at his age, but he has some real qualities. He’s a willing runner in behind, can run the channels, can hold the ball up,” said his manager at Leiston, Chris Wigger.

“At six foot one/two, he can compete physically. He’s got a lot of room to improve and grow and mature as a player.”

At Future Global Sports we are excited to work with Ronnie, whose humility and hunger to learn stand him in good stead as he looks to continue to develop and take the next steps of what we hope is a promising football career.

We continue to emerge as an ideal destination for top young talents to work with and help build their careers, and we see Ronnie as a player with high potential, who matches our values and who, with the right focus, application and guidance, can go on to progress from here.

We are excited to work with Ronnie to offer our guidance and knowledge of football and look forward working together to help guide his career and realise his full potential in the years to come.

Welcome to FGS, Ronnie.

Future is Blois!
