Future Global Sports is delighted to confirm that client Charlie Warren has completed a move to Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee from non-league Felixstowe and Walton United.
Warren joins the League One outfit on an initial two-year deal, with an option for an additional 12 months, moving from step 4 Isthmian League North Division Felixstowe and Walton United. The deal represents Charlie’s first professional contract after four years in non-league football.
The 21-year-old prospect registered 34 goals and more than 20 assists in 2024/25 to help the Seasiders finish second in their league and win the Suffolk Premier Cup last season and also scored for Bolton Wanderers as a trialist in a B Team fixture against Blackburn Rovers in February 2025.
Wanderers Head Coach Steven Schumacher added: “We’re delighted to win the race to bring Charlie to the club. He made a great impression on us all when he trialled earlier in the year and we’ve kept a keen eye on his progress, working to get this sorted once his season concluded.
“He’s a young player with clear potential and a good goalscoring instinct. This is an excellent opportunity for him to step up and continue his football education within our environment, and we’re looking forward to working with him and helping him develop.”
At Future Global Sports we are delighted to help Charlie secure his first pro deal at a big club with huge potential. The move is a jump of six divisions, a major leap and a testament to Charlie’s hard work and willingness to go the extra mile to improve himself and his game in all areas.
Congratulations Charlie, we wish you every success at your new club. Future is Warren!
